Fallen Angel

On her knees she was

Begging and pleading

With the seductress

She knew she had a chance

A chance to save him

By being submissive

So she poured her soul

She cried rivers

She broke bones

She gave it all up

And she got her attention

The seductress never negotiates

Only this once she was amazed

A mother’s love

Pure

“What is it that you want?”

“A chance for my son to keep living”

And just like that

She stopped breathing
